Joi G. Kush is a dedicated attorney specializing in domestic relations, with a robust practice that encompasses a wide range of cases, including complex custody disputes, high net worth marital estates, and post-decree issues. Education

Joi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and International Studies from the University of Denver in 2007, followed by her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2010. During her time in law school, she gained invaluable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert Littlefield at the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court and as a legal fellow in the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, specifically within the Vehicular Crimes Unit. Additionally, she contributed her insights as a student editor for both the Albany Government Law Review and the New York State Bar Association’s Government, Law & Policy Journal.

Beyond her academic and professional accomplishments, Joi has enriched her perspective by living and working abroad in diverse locations, including Beijing, China; Tokyo, Japan; Chiang Mai, Thailand; and Hanoi, Vietnam. These experiences have not only broadened her worldview but have also enhanced her ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.
